Youth Ministries
We operate youth meetings for all age groups. For those under 3 years old, we
have POPS and of course, Crèche on a Sunday Morning. For those in the age range
3-6 years old, Tweenies meets on a Sunday morning. For those aged 7-12 years
old, we have the New Generation Club on a Sunday and the Friday Night Youth Group, and
those in the 13-16 year olds meet in the Rafters on Sunday morning.
We are concerned to ensure that young people of all ages are secure and safe
at any event conducted by the church. To facilitate this, all youth workers are
required to undergo training and have to supply at least two references
concerning their suitability as a youth worker.
The church has adopted a
Safe
to Grow policy, which is ratified by
the church on an annual basis, and has developed and implemented an associated
set of procedures to ensure the safe and well-being of both the youth in our
care and the Youth Workers who are responsible for administering that care.
